Dr. Ullman (O.D., Doctor of Optometry) is an independent primary health care provider who specializes in the examination, diagnosis, treatment and management of diseases and disorders of the visual system, the eye and associated structures. He began practicing at The Yale Vision Center in 1971. Dr. Ullman is among a select group to have been trained in working with functional vision disorders in visual processing which affect reading, computer use, and other aspects of learning, development and behavior. These include Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS), Dry Eye Syndrome (DES), LASIK Co-Management, Cataract Co-Management, and Macular Degeneration He is also specially trained in the diagnosis and management of glaucoma and other eye diseases.
Dr. Ullman attended University of Houston, College of Optometry. After graduation, he enlisted in the Army and during this tour, he was honored with the Certificate of Achievement Award. Dr. Ullman continued his education to become a Glaucoma specialist and obtained his Therapeutic License. He is a member of the Texas Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, and Harris County Optometry Society.
Through the years, Dr. Ullman has been invited to speak at numerous national and international conferences. He continues to offer his patients exceptional one-on-one care for their individual needs. He enjoys helping his patients achieve clear vision and a healthy set of eyes.
